Bought this for our grandkids for Christmas and they are so excited! Their dad is still working on getting it installed while the weather is still nice!

The installation was straightforward and all the parts were there ( with no extras). The pole and backboard are very heavy and awkward so be sure to have enough people to help. The hoop is very sturdy and shakes very little even with hard shots. Only downside was the hardware package didn’t keep the parts separated very well and they were all mixed together.

I have wanted a Goalrilla hoop for YEARS. After buying a home with a driveway suitable for an in-ground hoop I ordered this before we even moved in. After doing some research I landed on this model. Dick’s price was comparable if not better than others. After reading some reviews I opted to pay for installation since I didn’t trust doing it myself. Although waiting a month and a half to schedule installation was tough, it was well worth it. The installers knew exactly what they were doing and were at my house for less than an hour both times. The hoop is sturdy and looks great. I am excited to use my Goalrilla for years to come!

It took me a long time to decide to spend this much money. I couldn’t be happier. Don’t under estimate the size of your hole. Buy more cement than you could possibly need. Asking your wife to rush to the hardware store when you realize you don’t have enough causes problems. It had set enough by the time she got back that I had to use a 3 lb sledge and a 2 x 4 to get the J bolts in.
