The Bosch Gen 2 Climate Ductless Mini Split Series Air Conditioner with Heat Pump provides 18,000 BTU of energy-efficient, on-demand comfort that is flexible, simple to install and easy to maintain. An exceptional alternative to traditional HVAC systems, mini splits heat and cool individual rooms by utilizing a combination of efficient technologies to lower electricity usage and decrease your electric bill. The mini split system is ideal for spaces where ductwork will not fit or is overly costly including additions, renovations and enclosed patios. The system is comprised of 3 parts: the indoor air handler, an outdoor condensing section, and the piping line set. The main units are connected by the electrical, refrigerant and condensate piping line set through a 3 in. Dia hole in an exterior wall. The outdoor unit is charged with enough refrigerant to charge up to 35 ft. of line set.

When will this system be available from Home Depot? We have been waiting for 3 months for a Bosch 2-Zone Ductless Mini-split system and summer is beginning to wind down. We have a HVAC technician waiting to perform the install.

My Bosh mini split will not be hooked up for another week However the shipment packing and appearance was and is great. We purchased kitchen appliances for several years and when considering our final mini split pics it was Bosh.

The unit required a professional HVAC company to install, which is fine, just an extra expense. The units run excellent, even in this vortex crazy Houston winter, I’ve been warm. My only two issues are, there was not enough drainage piping provided, so I had to use some PCV (not a big deal, and it does not reduce much of the humidity like most HVACs (not sure if other two zones do, as this was my first). All in all, I’d absolutely buy it again, it works great.

The cooling capacity was perfect for my garage and a room over the garage. It has also reduced the workload of the pre-existing system. Working together, the entire house is cooler. I anticipate a similar result with winter weather and the units heating capacity.

Runs great, indoor units don’t have the latches that keep them tilted up while making connections like with gen 1, be sure to inspect the units before taking them home, the hd picker dropped one of my indoor units like a cement sack then had to debate with him about what a wineglass pictogram means.
