More Info. & Price

So long, straw bags of summer (and thank you!). Hello, sophisticated satchel ripe for fall romance — and fresh fashion pairings!

Thoughtful organization. Standout style. We’ve all had new-season handbags that do a fine job of one or the other. But this one nails it on both accounts. Insta-classic? We think so.

The divided main compartment keeps all the heavy hitters (keys, wallet, sunglasses) in place. But we’re also big fans of: (1) the bag’s structure that gives us several spots, inside and out, to pop our phone, and (2) the crossbody strap and right-sized (read: not oversized) silhouette that makes it ultra-wearable. All that’s super handy when juggling coffee, leashes, or small hands — or when navigating turnstiles, busy sidewalks, or store aisles.

And did you see those twisted rope handles and tassel accents? It might not be so hard to say goodbye to summer, after all. From Patricia Nash.

Leather is a strong, flexible and durable material obtained from the tanning, or chemical treatment, of animal skins and hides to prevent decay. The most common leathers come from cattle, sheep, goats, equine animals, buffalo, pigs and hogs, and aquatic animals such as seals and alligators.

Leather can be used to make a variety of items, including clothing, footwear, handbags, furniture, tools and sports equipment, and lasts for decades. Leather making has been practiced for more than 7,000 years and the leading producers of leather today are China and India.

Critics of tanneries claim that they engage in unsustainable practices that pose health hazards to the people and the environment near them.

Patricia is a feminine given name of Latin origin. Derived from the Latin word patrician, meaning 'noble', it is the feminine form of the masculine given name Patrick. Another well-known variant is Patrice.

According to the US Social Security Administration records, the use of the name for newborns peaked at #3 from 1937 to 1943 in the United States, after which it dropped in popularity, sliding to #745 in 2016. From 1928 to 1967, the name was ranked among the top 11 female names.

In Portuguese and Spanish-speaking Latin-American countries, the name Patrícia/Patricia is common as well, pronounced [paˈtɾisiɐ] in Portuguese and [paˈtɾisja] in Spanish. In Catalan and Portuguese it is written Patrícia, while in Italy, Germany and Austria Patrizia is the form, pronounced [paˈtrittsja] in Italian and [paˈtʁiːtsi̯a] in German. In Polish, the variant is Patrycja, pronounced [paˈtrɨt͡sja]. It is also used in Romania, in 2009 being the 43rd most common name for baby girls.

A satchel is a bag with a strap, traditionally used for carrying books. The strap is often worn so that it diagonally crosses the body, with the bag hanging on the opposite hip, rather than hanging directly down from the shoulder. The back of a satchel extends to form a flap that folds over to cover the top and fastens in the front. Unlike a briefcase, a satchel is soft-sided.

This is the perfect handbag, so well organized and easy to carry. The one downside is that it is very heavy, I didn’t lower my score as I love the organization and beauty of the bag. I have 3 other Patricia Nash Bags and they are all perfect. I get so many compliments on this bag and everyone I have. People seem to be drawn to it as it is such high quality and so beautiful. I’m now retired and don’t go out too much where I need a handbag, I wanted one last beauty in my collection. I highly recommend.

I got the tiger print. Wow is it ever beautiful! It’s exactly the size I thought it was going to be. I usually carry it with the handles- the crossbody strap is way too long for me. I plan to take this to a leather specialist to get more holes put in the strap so I can use it crossbody. I do not think it’s too big to use as a crossbody. I read another review that thought it was too big. I’m 5’1 and 100 pounds and it’ll be a great crossbody for me. The leather is supreme, and the organization of the purse is wonderful. It’s weighty, but not too heavy. It’s as expected I should say- and I’ve had a couple Dooneys that were very heavy to compare with this. If I could improve this bag- I’d make more holes in the strap for the shorter people, and I’d make the outside slip pocket a tad bit bigger for my phone (iPhone X). It fits quite snugly. Other than that- this is a stunning bag! Only 4 stars because of the crossbody strap length and the small size of the outside phone pocket. I’m thinking of buying the map too. It’s lovely. Thanks Patricia! I got the matching wallet too and am awaiting it’s shipment.

I KNEW THIS BAG WAS NOT GOING TO BE A LIGHTWEIGHT THAT’S PATRICIA’S BAGS. I THINK THIS BAG IS BEAUTIFUL. GOT THE BRISTISH TAN AND LOVE THE GOLD PEEKING THROUGH. SO RICH AND ALSO SO ORGANIZED. THIS BAG LOOKS LIKE IT WAS WAAY MORE EXPENSIVE. THE CONSTRUCTION IS WONDERFUL EVEN MY HUSBAND SAID YOU DON’T HAVE ANYTHING LIKE THAT AND IT’S DIFFERENT. I HAVE A CLOSET DEDICATED TO HANDBAGS ALL DESIGNER AND THIS WILL BE AN WONDERFUL ADDITION TO MY COLLECTION. OF COURSE I CERTAINLY DID NOT NEED ANOTHER BAG BUT JUST COULD’T RESIST. MIGHT COME BACK FOR ANOTHER THE NUBUCK LOOKS VERY COOL AS WELL/ THIS IS MY 4TH PATRICIA NASH BAG.ONE I WOULD NOT USE THIS AS A CROSSBODY BAG TO LARGE FOR THAT. HAPPY GIRL.

I purchased the European Map, which is quite beautiful. The bag is bigger than I would normally carry everyday, but well organized. I would like to see other styles in this pattern. I removed the crossbody strap. It is definitely too big to use that way, and I prefer a longer handle to use as a shoulder bag. Not sure if I am keeping it, only due to the large size. but probably will.

Love the new map print. Have 3 Poppy bags and love the size and organizational features. This bag was just awkward – bag straps too short for over the shoulder and crossbody too narrow and long. If she does the new map in the Poppy design, will purchase. Returning.
