Double-stitched handles offer multiple carry options, and a shoulder strap makes hauling your Hondo Base Camp Chair further a bit more comfortable. While our Hondo chair is nearly indestructible, it’s not impervious to spider webs, toppled paint cans, or other known storage assailants. Keep it safe and ready to go in the Hondo Base Camp Chair Carry Tote.

A chair is a type of seat, typically designed for one person and consisting of one or more legs, a flat or slightly angled seat and a back-rest. It may be made of wood, metal, or synthetic materials, and may be padded or upholstered in various colors and fabrics.
Chairs vary in design. An armchair has armrests fixed to the seat; a recliner is upholstered and features a mechanism that lowers the chair's back and raises into place a footrest; a rocking chair has legs fixed to two long curved slats; and a wheelchair has wheels fixed to an axis under the seat.

I bought this chair with some hesitation, due to the fact I haven’t actually sat in it. Knowing Yeti’s reputation on quality, and after watching and reading many reviews on it, I took a leap of faith on this chair – and I have no regrets.
My most recent experience was an all-day outdoor Fantasy Football Draft, and while my friends squirmed in their nylon camping chairs, I relaxed and enjoyed myself, as I went on to pick a, no-doubt, championship team. “Hey, is that the Yeti chair?” they asked with excitement. “Yes, would like to try it out?” I responded. It was really enjoyable watching them share in the comfort of this chair.
Now, would I replace this with actual Outdoor Furniture? No – it’s not designed for that. I would prefer an Adirondack Chair, or something else with a cushion for my own home. I would 1000% percent recommend this chair for people who want to bring it out with them. It is really heavy (even with the Hondo Bag) for a portable chair, but you need to really ask yourself if you’re really going to be walking long distances in order to post-up for the day or weekend.

Love my Hondo base camp chair, thinking about buying the trailhead just to compare.

It is solid and comfortable and finally gives me a chair that allows me and my bad back to sit with friends at ordinary events–BBQs, fire pits, outside concerts, the beach…I’m so excited to be rejoining the world!

I’m 6’5″ and 290 lbs. I’ve broken dozens of chairs over many years, then i got the yeti chair and it is extremely comfortable and sturdy. Best thing Yeti I own… and I have 4 of the ice chests! So awesome!!!

Chair is a good size and a good height. Love that when folded to carry, drink stays put in holder and doesn’t spill everywhere.
