Filtration is a physical process that separates solid matter and fluid from a mixture.
Filter, filtering, filters or filtration may also refer to:
HEPA (, high-efficiency particulate air) filter, also known as a high-efficiency particulate arresting filter, is an efficiency standard of air filters.
Filters meeting the HEPA standard must satisfy certain levels of efficiency. Common standards require that a HEPA air filter must remove—from the air that passes through—at least 99.95% (ISO, European Standard) or 99.97% (ASME, U.S. DOE) of particles whose diameter is equal to 0.3 μm, with the filtration efficiency increasing for particle diameters both less than and greater than 0.3 μm. HEPA filters capture pollen, dirt, dust, moisture, bacteria (0.2–2.0 μm), viruses (0.02–0.3 μm), and submicron liquid aerosol (0.02–0.5 μm). Some microorganisms, for example, Aspergillus niger, Penicillium citrinum, Staphylococcus epidermidis, and Bacillus subtilis are captured by HEPA filters with photocatalytic oxidation (PCO). A HEPA filter is also able to capture some viruses and bacteria which are ≤0.3 μm. A HEPA filter is also able to capture floor dust which contains bacteroidia, clostridia, and bacilli. HEPA was commercialized in the 1950s, and the original term became a registered trademark and later a generic trademark for highly efficient filters. HEPA filters are used in applications that require contamination control, such as the manufacturing of hard disk drives, medical devices, semiconductors, nuclear, food and pharmaceutical products, as well as in hospitals, homes, and vehicles.

A tower is a tall structure, taller than it is wide, often by a significant factor. Towers are distinguished from masts by their lack of guy-wires and are therefore, along with tall buildings, self-supporting structures.
Towers are specifically distinguished from buildings in that they are built not to be habitable but to serve other functions using the height of the tower. For example, the height of a clock tower improves the visibility of the clock, and the height of a tower in a fortified building such as a castle increases the visibility of the surroundings for defensive purposes. Towers may also be built for observation, leisure, or telecommunication purposes. A tower can stand alone or be supported by adjacent buildings, or it may be a feature on top of a larger structure or building.

I bought this unit for my bedroom. Over the years I would awaken with sinus headaches no matter if I took pills or used sinus sprays. I knew part of the problem was using my ceiling fan to sleep cool. This fan blows cool, clean air with the result that I sleep comfortably and awake without headaches! I find the sound soothing and am thankful for the night mode that so no light is reflected in the room. This product is exactly what I need for an excellent night’s sleep!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good fan. The plug is awful, it’s huge and bulky. I cannot plug another thing into the second socket because the whole fan plug takes up pretty much both. That’s my main concern. The plug is extremely annoying and heavy. It’s not the greatest fan in the world, I wish it had a slightly stronger and higher setting. The highest setting is kind of loud, though. Being someone who suffers from allergies, I love that it doesn’t collect the dust and blow it around the room. That’s a major plus for me. Overall, it’s a good product despite the personal minor problems for me.

I’m so happy with my Dyson. I can breathe better. It’s quiet, light weight can be moved to any room.

We purchased this fan a few weeks ago. We absolutely Love it. It keeps our air in our Kitchen/Den clean and safe. We love the app and how we can control the fan even when we are not home. The TPO4 does a great job of circulating the air in the room and keeping us cooler then with an average fan which doesn’t circulate the air anything like the TPO4 does. Thank you dyson for another outstanding product!

I have had this air purifier about a month now and can’t brag enough about it. Especially love that you can sync to your iPhone and see all settings and levels. No need for the remote. A quality product all around. I have the Dyson vacuum also. It finds dirt where you think is clean. Easy to use also.

I highly recommend this air purifier. We have a dog, two cats and live near a cement factory. Our true test was to seeing how well my son’s girlfriend would do around this purifier. She is allergic to cats and dust and Would sneeze very frequently when she stays with us. Been running the air purifier for a week and keep the setting on
automatic. She came to visit this weekend and only sneezed two times the entire weekend and never had a stuffy nose or needed any allergy medicine.
