A pocket is a bag- or envelope-like receptacle either fastened to or inserted in an article of clothing to hold small items. Pockets are also attached to luggage, backpacks, and similar items. In older usage, a pocket was a separate small bag or pouch.

I was able to take my new Bigger Carry-On with Leather Pocket on 3 trips in my first month. First was donestic, but then a week in Spain and then a week in China. So, I put it through it’s paces early on and am truly in love with how easy it is to pack and to get around. I love the pocket and will send pics from future travel.

I’m so in love with my Away suitcase! Finally after months of wanting one I decided to order it and I’m so glad I did.

The only gift requested by my son for Christmas was an Away suitcase. He is 12 years old and a very well traveled boy, living overseas for many years and getting plenty of airline travel under his belt from there time he was born. He loves the battery charging feature, lock, interior organization, wheels, pocket for his iPad and book, color and sleek design.
He was devastated when I accidnrlt bought a super saver ticket this past Jan as he had to check his bag (no on board allowed!). But I won’t that happen again!
He is a huge fan. His younger brother who is 6 years old is asking for one now too!

I have been a Briggs & Riley carry on user for seven years and recently decided to try the Away bigger carry-on. My shopping experience for a new carry-on began as I was wanting a spinner bag with four wheels. Initially I intended to get another Briggs & Riley but after being recommended by a friend to check out Away, I did. I am not sure that their warranty would be equal to Briggs & Riley, though they do claim it is a lifetime warranty, I am still very happy with the product. I should mention that the “compression” technology is not nearly as sophisticated as the Briggs & Riley but I don’t feel like it hindered my packing. I purchased the garment carrier to go in my bag as well. On a recent trip, I had two pairs of dress shoes (size 8.5), my toiletry bag, three suits (size 40S), four dress shirts and several ties in my carry-on! Until now, I had never packed in a clamshell style suitcase before and couldn’t believe what I was missing. On top of that, it looks great and the battery is a nice addition. Great product, I highly recommend it.

I love this suitcase. I have the reputation for always packing too much and traveling with the largest bag. On our last trip, my new Away suitcase was smaller than my husband’s and did not leave me short on items packed for our vacation! It is durable and turns on a dime when trying to navigate through airports. The charger was an added bonus!
