A bed is an item of furniture that is used as a place to sleep, rest, and relax.
Most modern beds consist of a soft, cushioned mattress on a bed frame. The mattress rests either on a solid base, often wood slats, or a sprung base. Many beds include a box spring inner-sprung base, which is a large mattress-sized box containing wood and springs that provide additional support and suspension for the mattress. Beds are available in many sizes, ranging from infant-sized bassinets and cribs, to small beds for a single person or adult, to large queen and king-size beds designed for two people. While most beds are single mattresses on a fixed frame, there are other varieties, such as the murphy bed, which folds into a wall, the sofa bed, which folds out of a sofa, the trundle bed, which is stored under a low, twin-sized bed and can be rolled out to create a larger sleeping area, and the bunk bed, which provides two mattresses on two tiers as well as a ladder to access the upper tier. Temporary beds include the inflatable air mattress and the folding camp cot. Some beds contain neither a padded mattress nor a bed frame, such as the hammock. Other beds are made specifically for animals.
Beds may have a headboard for resting against, and may have side rails and footboards. "Headboard only" beds may incorporate a "dust ruffle", "bed skirt", or "valance sheet" to hide the bed frame. To support the head, a pillow made of a soft, padded material is usually placed on the top of the mattress. Some form of covering blanket is often used to insulate the sleeper, often bed sheets, a quilt, or a duvet, collectively referred to as bedding. Bedding is the removable non-furniture portion of a bed, which enables these components to be washed or aired out.
A ladder is a vertical or inclined set of rungs or steps commonly used for climbing or descending. There are two types: rigid ladders that are self-supporting or that may be leaned against a vertical surface such as a wall, and rollable ladders, such as those made of rope or aluminium, that may be hung from the top. The vertical members of a rigid ladder are called stringers or rails (US) or stiles (UK). Rigid ladders are usually portable, but some types are permanently fixed to a structure, building, or equipment. They are commonly made of metal, wood, or fiberglass, but they have been known to be made of tough plastic.
A loft is a building's upper storey or elevated area in a room directly under the roof (American usage), or just an attic: a storage space under the roof usually accessed by a ladder (primarily British usage). A loft apartment refers to large adaptable open space, often converted for residential use (a converted loft) from some other use, often light industrial. Adding to the confusion, some converted lofts themselves include upper open loft areas.
Twins are two offspring produced by the same pregnancy. Twins can be either monozygotic ('identical'), meaning that they develop from one zygote, which splits and forms two embryos, or dizygotic ('non-identical' or 'fraternal'), meaning that each twin develops from a separate egg and each egg is fertilized by its own sperm cell. Since identical twins develop from one zygote, they will share the same sex, while fraternal twins may or may not. In very rare cases fraternal (and semi- or half-identical) twins can have the same mother and different fathers (heteropaternal superfecundation).
In contrast, a fetus that develops alone in the womb (the much more common case in humans) is called a singleton, and the general term for one offspring of a multiple birth is a multiple. Unrelated look-alikes whose resemblance parallels that of twins are referred to as doppelgänger.
With or WITH may refer to:

- With (character), a character in D. N. Angel
- With (novel), a novel by Donald Harrington

I was extremely nervous about buying a loft bed in general but after tons of research I went with this one. There was a tiny piece of wood that chipped in the headboard but it ended up being covered by the slots. Not noticeable and the mattress covers that area. Bed wiggles a tad when getting on the top but nothing crazy. Its still secure. Its aloft bed, dont expect no movement at all. Overall its a nice bed and my 8 year old daughter loves it!

Great loft bed, arrived early. Have only had it up for a few hours so far, but so far very good. Bought for 5 year old daughters room and she loves it. Seem sturdy, great price. Before we started to put it together we checked all pieces and hardware to make sure we had everything. Took maybe 2 hrs work for two people. Make sure to look in the drilled holes to make sure there is no wood pieces stuck, the pieces won’t line up properly if there is something in the holes. There was no pre drilled holes for the bed slats, so we decided to carefully drill holes just so the wood would not crack.

My son really likes the bed.

Got confused with delivery wording that part of my order was getting shipped. Turns out the box that came actually had all the pieces. It was very heavy and a lot of thought went into maximizing packaging dimensions. However, there was very little padding protecting the pieces from any mishandling. I found some small dents in three of the big pieces that were in the outer parts of the packaging. It took 2 people for the most part. But 3 people are needed when putting the side rails to the top and bottom boards. Even though the manual said 1 hour, it took us about 3 hours (with a few breaks in between putting sections together). The provided Allen wrench is very useful but you’ll need some gloves since you’ll be spinning about 50 screws plus the regular small ones (for the planks) that you’ll need a cross screw driver for. A flashlight is also handy to sight the alignment of the nut caps. Once the frame was done it felt very sturdy.

We purchased this bunkbed for the decent price point and the fact that I wanted an open space underneath so I could turn it into a reading nook. It’s stable but it wobbles if you shake it (we wanted to test it before putting our daughter in it). Definitely not as white as they make it out to be in the photos. It’s more of an off-white/cream color. My advice would be to order 2 of these and send one back. The first one we ordered had missing pieces and instead of just sending us those pieces, there were all kinds of forms we were going to have to fill out and it was going to take a while to come in. We decided to order another one and that one came in pretty beat up. We were able to put together a bunkbed using pieces from both boxes, and now we’re returning the other one. We should not have had to go through all this trouble. My little girl is happy and it didn’t break the bank. She was skeptical the first night but warmed up very quickly to it!

I received my kids loft bed earlier than expected which was great!!! This bed was so easy to put together (I am a 5’2” woman). I need my kid to hold a few pieces in place but other than that instructions were easy and assembled within 2hours. I’m sure if I had another person it could have been done quicker. It is pretty sturdy and has plenty of walking space underneath. Make sure to use the spacer for your slats, it does not come with pre-drilled holes for that part. The color is very nice! I have 10′ ceilings so my kid had a 40” clearance from his mattress to the ceiling. He can walk straight under the loft bed for now (55” clearance). This was a great price for my purchase, I’m very Happy with it.
