[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this laptop with the intention to use it in my final couple years of architecture school as my current one is starting to give out. This was my first Windows operating device as it provided me the opportunity to download and use certain programs not formatted for Apple products. So far I have a great experience with the user friendly applications and download process is easy and efficient. Most of my software (Revit, Rhino, Enscape, etc.) runs so well on this laptop with very limited to zero lag time. The only issue I had since I am use to the set-up ease of an Apple product, the start-up and set-up process had limited instruction. I had to go watch YouTube videos and check online forums just to switch from the continuous rainbow color changing keyboard to a single color (which is accessed from an app not in settings). After about a couple days of searching the Internet I finally go caught up on all the great things this product offers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great performance, sleek design. Not too loud even on performance mode. HDR and HFR look great! Only complaint I have is lack of a way to default the lighting to something other than the rainbow pinwheel, which comes on when you boot or restart and stays until signed into windows.

Honestly the best purchase I’ve made all year. This laptop is blazing fast. The graphics look amazing. Even when playing games like SCUM, which would melt my old laptop, this beauty runs flawlessly. I highly recommend the Lenovo Legion 7i to anyone looking for a high performance gaming laptop, it is without a doubt, the best laptop I’ve ever had.

This laptop is really great! Good speakers, good webcam, fast cpu and gpu for 3d modeling and gaming. Uninstall Corsair Service to get any decent battery life. Also worth mentioning that the fans are fairly quiet, even when this thing is running at full speed. Not silent at max fan, but way quieter than the Razer Blade I used to have.
My only real gripe is that I wish the play/pause buttons were closer to a Fn button on the keyboard. Can’t stop/switch songs one-handed. Overall, I definitely recommend this laptop if you’re looking in this price range.

Replaced my legion y540. This is too much computer for gaming. But I got it on sale. Guess, I’m future proofed for mobile gaming triple A titles at ultra settings for years to come.
