The LEE PRECISION ENG carbide 3 die set would be a great addition to your reloading collection as a beginner or an experienced reloader. Works as advertised. I would suggest that any one reloading either buy the four piece set with included factory crimp die or the optional carbide factory crimp die ( also available on amazon) to finish of your reloaded bullets so that they feed smoothly into the weapons chamber.

Nice die set. Lock rings and bullet depth adjustment items are made of aluminum so handle carefully. Lock rings don’t have a mechanical locking method, just O-rings. However, I have not found this to be an issue. All dies in the set work nicely. Make sure you clean them good as Amazon shipping and handling is rough. My box arrived looking like it went through a tumbler. The dies had begun to chew up the inside of the case and little red pieces of plastic were all over (including inside the dies !).

Lee Precision is for the budget minded. Make sure that the decapper rod is securely held by the collet. Have used Lyman, RCBS, Hornady, Redding, and Dillon. Lee ranks with all.

I have now reloaded 100 rounds with these dies so this is by no means a long-term review, but they have functioned flawlessly and are quite easy to use. I really appreciate the instructions and load data that comes with these dies. They are a great value and I will continue to purchase Lee products in the future.

Other than the confusing calibers shown on the Amazon page, these dies are fine. They seem to be a regular set of dies, not seconds or anything weird. Just regular Lee dies.

I had been into reloading years ago and used Lee dies then, so they were my first choice to return to now. The dies are easy to use, but the setup instructions are a little vague. Use some online help and you’ll be up and running in no time.
