The swivel head alone makes this vac a great purchase. The weight makes it very easy for an old lady to handle. Works great on pet hair, easy to switch out attachments with no loss of power. Vacuuming takes 1/3rd the time if used to, because of cordless, lightweight and swivel head.

What a great deal this was. Very basic Dyson that was recommended by the NY Times. Lucky to find this refurbished. Only have it for a week, but so far it seems to be working perfectly. When I opened the box, the enclosed parts all looked near new condition other than the motorhead which did look used. But it works just fine.

Like new, inexpensive, powerful, extremely convenient. It gathers quite a bit of carpet fiber, so it is only used downstairs on the old carpet, where we come in from the garage and outside, and where we burn wood in the wood stove. It stands in the corner and takes only a few seconds to go over the main traffic area and in front of the fireplace.
