Fan commonly refers to:
- Fan (machine), a machine for producing airflow, often used for cooling
- Hand fan, an implement held and waved by hand to move air for cooling
- Fan (person), short for fanatic; an enthusiast or supporter, especially with regard to entertainment
Fan, FAN or fans may also refer to:
GeForce is a brand of graphics processing units (GPUs) designed by Nvidia and marketed for the performance market. As of the GeForce 40 series, there have been eighteen iterations of the design. The first GeForce products were discrete GPUs designed for add-on graphics boards, intended for the high-margin PC gaming market, and later diversification of the product line covered all tiers of the PC graphics market, ranging from cost-sensitive GPUs integrated on motherboards, to mainstream add-in retail boards. Most recently, GeForce technology has been introduced into Nvidia's line of embedded application processors, designed for electronic handhelds and mobile handsets.
With respect to discrete GPUs, found in add-in graphics-boards, Nvidia's GeForce and AMD's Radeon GPUs are the only remaining competitors in the high-end market. GeForce GPUs are very dominant in the general-purpose graphics processor unit (GPGPU) market thanks to their proprietary Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA). GPGPU is expected to expand GPU functionality beyond the traditional rasterization of 3D graphics, to turn it into a high-performance computing device able to execute arbitrary programming code in the same way a CPU does, but with different strengths (highly parallel execution of straightforward calculations) and weaknesses (worse performance for complex branching code).
Graphics (from Ancient Greek γραφικός (graphikós) 'pertaining to drawing, painting, writing, etc.') are visual images or designs on some surface, such as a wall, canvas, screen, paper, or stone, to inform, illustrate, or entertain. In contemporary usage, it includes a pictorial representation of data, as in design and manufacture, in typesetting and the graphic arts, and in educational and recreational software. Images that are generated by a computer are called computer graphics.
Examples are photographs, drawings, line art, mathematical graphs, line graphs, charts, diagrams, typography, numbers, symbols, geometric designs, maps, engineering drawings, or other images. Graphics often combine text, illustration, and color. Graphic design may consist of the deliberate selection, creation, or arrangement of typography alone, as in a brochure, flyer, poster, web site, or book without any other element. The objective can be clarity or effective communication, association with other cultural elements, or merely the creation of a distinctive style.
Graphics can be functional or artistic. The latter can be a recorded version, such as a photograph, or an interpretation by a scientist to highlight essential features, or an artist, in which case the distinction with imaginary graphics may become blurred. It can also be used for architecture.
PNY or pny may refer to:
- PNY Technologies, an American manufacturer of computer components
- PNY, an alternative name of Beta-amyrin synthase, an enzyme
- PNY, the IATA airport code for the Pondicherry Airport
- pny, the ISO 639-3 code for the Pinyin language
Triple is used in several contexts to mean "threefold" or a "treble":
X, or x, is the twenty-fourth letter of the Latin alphabet, used in the modern English alphabet, the alphabets of other western European languages and others worldwide. Its name in English is ex (pronounced ), plural exes.
XLR8 was a Filipino boy band under VIVA Records. The group composed of Arkin del Rosario, Carlo Lazerna, the identical twins MJ and MM Magno, Kiko Ramos, Caleb Santos, AJ Muhlach and Hideaki Torio. They are regularly seen on the Sunday noontime variety show Party Pilipinas aired on GMA Network. The group was accused of plagiarizing Super Junior's "Sorry, Sorry", both groups did not issue an official statement.

Huge upgrade from base Asus 2060. 300+ fps on low settings on any game you throw at it. Snagged one of these as they were in stock for around 6 minutes. Paired with 2600x, waiting on zen 3.
by Boliver
I’m able to hit the 120hz in every title I’ve thrown at it on max settings. I’ve experienced no issues with the VRR and it never goes over 62 degrees Celsius.
Tested HDMI 2.1 on a LG CX OLED and was able to achieve 120hz via HDMI w/ VRR.
The only reason I’m giving the card a 4/5 stars is nit picking, but the AIB does have a 50$ premium for the RBG/Triple Fan, but the GeForce RTX on the side is non illumination. With PCIE 4.0 extender cables being a little wonky at the moment most users will not be vertically mounting the GPU so the illumination is almost pointless of the ring on the center fan. IMO it just looks a little plain for a shiny new toy #firstworldproblems.
All in all, I have been unable to obtain a 3080 so settled for this 3070 and honestly don’t think I’ll even need the 3080 to push 21:9 1440p 120Hz so will call it a win with saving $200+.

Performance : A/A+
4K RDR2/AC Valhalla +- 50 FPS on ultra settings.
Sound : A/A+
Very Quiet Card coz it spins for around 33-35% during 4K heavy games
Temps : A/A+
63-64C during most demanding games which is very nice.
Overall ? A+ card for MSRP because card ticks all the boxes plus it has DLSS which is huge plus for Raytraced games.

Solid card. Never gets above 69 degrees C under load out of the box. G3D Mark of 23038. My Index still beats it down though. Arrived on time. Would have been nice to actually be able to buy a 3080, but hard to complain.

Came fast, discreet packaging so it wouldn’t get stolen. It works fantastic, just as if I bought a new computer.

Great card, low temps. Some optimization issues with new games such as warzone, AC Valhalla but destined to happen with Nvidia and drivers for brand new generation of graphics cards. Looks amazing in 2k and vertical mounted with the thermaltake riser on here.
