2020 (MMXX) was a leap year starting on Wednesday of the Gregorian calendar, the 2020th year of the Common Era (CE) and Anno Domini (AD) designations, the 20th year of the 3rd millennium and the 21st century, and the 1st year of the 2020s decade.
The year 2020 was heavily defined by the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to global social and economic disruption, mass cancellations and postponements of events, worldwide lockdowns, and the largest economic recession since the Great Depression in the 1930s. Geospatial World also called 2020 "the worst year in terms of climate change" in part due to major climate disasters worldwide, including major bushfires in Australia and the western United States, as well as extreme tropical cyclone activity affecting large parts of North America. A United Nations progress report published in December 2020 indicated that none of the international Sustainable Development Goals for 2020 were achieved. Time magazine used its sixth ever X cover to declare 2020 "the worst year ever," although the cover article itself did not go as far, instead saying, "There have been worse years in U.S. history, and certainly worse years in world history, but most of us alive today have seen nothing like this one." The Golden Raspberry Awards also awarded the year the Special Governor's Award for The Worst Calendar Year EVER! at their 41st ceremony.

We love this T.V. Amazing picture, with great anti-glare characteristics. It does great in any sort of room lighting, but really shines in a bright and sunny room because of both its color brightness and anti-glare characteristics. The only knock in our book, and it is very minor, is that it is all black in is bezel and legs. A little bit of metal would give it a much more premium look, which given his T.V.s cost, is certainly justified. Would like to add a second one in our living room at our house.

I love our new TV!! It’s so big! The colors are bright and pretty on the picture. There’s a clearer view of the screen too! It get’s really loud when I turn the sound up without our stereo on which is usually all the time when I’m streaming movies. It feels like I’m at a movie theater! I turn off all the lights and make popcorn just like I’m going to the movies.

We’re very pleased. The picture is great! The set-up is easy. It has a lot of ‘extra’ features and apps. We haven’t played with them all yet. Our old set was about ten years old. We just keep saying how this one is clearer, brighter and it is much easier to access Vudu, Amazon Prime, etc.

Love this TV, great crisp colors, easy to use, great sound. This is my second Samsung TV, my other was a old Samsung DPL TV which lasted 14 years.

I purchased this TV as a result of returning a Hisense h9g that had issues with red ghosting and color banding. This TV has a great picture and great color reproduction, great brightness, and good viewing angles. There’s not many negative things I can say about this TV, however…If you are placing this TV in a position where you are going to get direct lighting in front of the screen then you’re going to get extreme glare. With regular indirect or just daytime lighting you’ll be fine. The problem comes from a direct light source in front of the screen. You’ll get a rainbow and light streaking across the screen. TV’s that cost less do a much better job of handling direct lighting. At the same time, this TV has great picture, 120hz panel, great blacks, great upscaling, strong HDR, good brightness, and HDMI 2.1 port. Just be sure to place this TV where the majority of your viewing will be done without a light shining directly into the sceen.
