Sometimes if you read too many reviews, you will gloss over the positive and focus on the negatives, Therefore I try not to read too many, and yet here I am writing one! I have basic simple needs in my laptop, but it its my most used device and could never go without..I decided to buy this as my 5 year old HP was probably dwindling down and I know there is a shortage these days. Anyway, I am very happy with this as I have been with all my previous HPs. I have had laptops for 21 years now and each one gets better and better. I like to do what most people do.. I go to websites, emails, facebook, do a little shopping, and I like to play games.. Now I am not a hardcore gamer, but I have had no issues with graphics with the ones I play… So, in summary, if you are a general heavy user, then this laptop is perfect. It will do everything you like to do

I got the Rose Gold and it’s perfect! So easy to to set up. The only problem was how to hook up the free year of office 365. Instructions should come with the computer to tell you how to set up. Other then that I’m very happy with my purchase!

I have Outlook 365 already, but the HP updated Outlook I guess, so when i signed in to Outlook I don’t have any contacts in my address book. I can’t figure out how to import my contacts, CVS file like the old way which was easy. This is probably a Microsoft issue and not HP. I’ve had the new HP for about a week now and because I use ONEDRIVE with Office 365 all my files are in my Onedrive and didn’t have to move any files, although I did move/copy my pictures. I have 200 speed Internet and my other HP won’t get over 100 Internet speed but the new gets 200 Internet with ease. I turned on the computer and it gets to the sign in screen in 25 SECONDS which is Fantastic for Windows. So far I’m very happy with this purchase, 12 GB, Backlit keyboard, Touch Screen and more.

I received this laptop a couple of days ago and I am enjoying it! Love the feel of the keyboard and I appreciate the backlit keys as well as the touchscreen. I still haven’t received the software info – I understand others are still awaiting as well. I hesitated ordering the black oilslick, but now that I have it I really like the color.

I bought this laptop as a replacement to my previous laptop, which was damaged in a cat versus laptop accident. It will mostly be used to hold my digital photos and videos and to make Photo Montage Presentations.
The laptop arrived almost a week early, which was pretty exciting. The color is very pretty. I bought the Jade Terrazzo, which is a QVC exclusive color, with matching wireless mouse. The wireless mouse was definitely a selling point for me, as these can run $25 on their own. The setup only took a few minutes and was very easy.
The size of the laptop and monitor are good. Not too big to be hard to move around with, but not small enough to where it is hard to type. The touchscreen monitor is a fun feature and it works very well. I also love the full keyboard, which includes the ten-key numbers. This is very important as I do a lot with numbers.
My biggest complaint is that one of the selling points for me and something I was really excited about was the Premium Computer Elite 2 Package. This included a 3 month membership to America’s Test Kitchen, Hallmark Card Studio, etc. Well… it has been two weeks now and I have yet to receive this Activation Code/Instructions. Based on the QVC Tracking, which states it’s estimated arrival would be November 28 – and the Tracking still sits empty – it appears I will not be receiving this Package.
I was very apprehensive about ordering this from QVC, as this was my first purchase from them, but the Premium Computer Elite 2 Package really appealed to me. To not receive what was promoted and promised is extremely disappointing.

the microsoft software and extra one drive space were wasted because i already have those accounts and could not set up successful other accounts to use or add the time or space to the current account.
arrived very quickly, within a few days of placing order and no damage to unit.
got the green one with the terrazo keyboard. its fun and is backlit

I love this computer! I have the black oil slick laptop and it looks great! The tutorial assisted me in setting up everything I needed and believe me I am the very opposite of a computer geek! Love the keyboard backlight!
