Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer in iron/fuchsia
The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer is engineered to protect hair from extreme heat damage, with fastest drying⁺ and controlled styling to help increase smoothness by 75%, increase shine by up to 132% and decrease frizz and flyaways by up to 61%.
Smoothing nozzle
Dry and style your hair at the same time with gentle, low-velocity airflow.
Styling concentrator
The wide, thin design of the Styling concentrator creates a high-velocity blade of air that’s perfect for styling. And because the air is focused, you can style one section at a time – without disturbing the rest.
Diffuser
Engineered to disperse air evenly around your curls, the Diffuser simulates natural drying, helping to reduce frizz and define curls and waves. Long prongs allow you to style hair with control – and reach deep into the hair.
Wide tooth comb
Engineered for curly and coily hair, the new Wide-tooth comb attachment has robust teeth to help lengthen hair as it dries, or create volume and shape.
Available as an additional complimentary attachment at checkout.
Gentle air
Engineered to be kinder to fine hair and sensitive scalps, the new Gentle air attachment diffuses the air, creating a gentle, cooler airflow – while still drying air fast.
Available as an additional complimentary attachment at checkout.

82°F cold shot, to set your hair after styling
Magnetic attachments
The Dyson Supersonic™ hair dryer comes with magnetic styling attachments. For easy fitting and rotation during styling.
The Dyson digital motor V9
Spins up to 110,000rpm, propelling 13 liters of air up to the amplifier every second.
Air Multiplier™ technology
Airflow is amplified to produce a controlled, high-velocity jet of air for fast drying.
Intelligent heat control
Measures airflow temperature over 40 times to prevent extreme heat damage.

Fuchsia ( FEW-shə) is a genus of flowering plants that consists mostly of shrubs or small trees.
Almost 110 species of Fuchsia are recognized; the vast majority are native to South America, but a few occur north through Central America to Mexico, and also several from New Zealand to Tahiti. One species, F. magellanica, extends as far as the southern tip of South America, occurring on Tierra del Fuego in the cool temperate zone, but the majority are tropical or subtropical.
Hair is a protein filament that grows from follicles found in the dermis. Hair is one of the defining characteristics of mammals. The human body, apart from areas of glabrous skin, is covered in follicles which produce thick terminal and fine vellus hair. Most common interest in hair is focused on hair growth, hair types, and hair care, but hair is also an important biomaterial primarily composed of protein, notably alpha-keratin.
Attitudes towards different forms of hair, such as hairstyles and hair removal, vary widely across different cultures and historical periods, but it is often used to indicate a person's personal beliefs or social position, such as their age, gender, or religion.
Iron is a chemical element; it has the symbol Fe (from Latin ferrum 'iron') and atomic number 26. It is a metal that belongs to the first transition series and group 8 of the periodic table. It is, by mass, the most common element on Earth, forming much of Earth's outer and inner core. It is the fourth most abundant element in the Earth's crust, being mainly deposited by meteorites in its metallic state.
Extracting usable metal from iron ores requires kilns or furnaces capable of reaching 1,500 °C (2,730 °F), about 500 °C (932 °F) higher than that required to smelt copper. Humans started to master that process in Eurasia during the 2nd millennium BC and the use of iron tools and weapons began to displace copper alloys – in some regions, only around 1200 BC. That event is considered the transition from the Bronze Age to the Iron Age. In the modern world, iron alloys, such as steel, stainless steel, cast iron and special steels, are by far the most common industrial metals, due to their mechanical properties and low cost. The iron and steel industry is thus very important economically, and iron is the cheapest metal, with a price of a few dollars per kilogram or pound.
Pristine and smooth pure iron surfaces are a mirror-like silvery-gray. Iron reacts readily with oxygen and water to produce brown-to-black hydrated iron oxides, commonly known as rust. Unlike the oxides of some other metals that form passivating layers, rust occupies more volume than the metal and thus flakes off, exposing more fresh surfaces for corrosion. Chemically, the most common oxidation states of iron are iron(II) and iron(III). Iron shares many properties of other transition metals, including the other group 8 elements, ruthenium and osmium. Iron forms compounds in a wide range of oxidation states, −4 to +7. Iron also forms many coordination complexs; some of them, such as ferrocene, ferrioxalate, and Prussian blue have substantial industrial, medical, or research applications.
The body of an adult human contains about 4 grams (0.005% body weight) of iron, mostly in hemoglobin and myoglobin. These two proteins play essential roles in oxygen transport by blood and oxygen storage in muscles. To maintain the necessary levels, human iron metabolism requires a minimum of iron in the diet. Iron is also the metal at the active site of many important redox enzymes dealing with cellular respiration and oxidation and reduction in plants and animals.

I have my forever companion and of course will wait to see a travel version I am blown away and in love with my Dyson Supersonic.

Picked this up for my wife’s birthday, something she would have never ordered for herself. She raves about it daily from time saving to ‘no grizzlies’. Worked out great.

Unbelievably fast! True supersonic! I wish I’d discovered this years ago! It’s truly life changing! I used to hate washing and drying my hair in a morning but the Dyson hairdryer makes it so easy and the condition it leaves your hair in is super soft and silky! I have really bleached damaged hair but after using the dryer it somehow makes it so you can’t even see or feel the dry brittle ends! It’s truly worth the money it really is.

It’s strength and power literally blows my hair away. I never had a more powerful hairdryer. Absolutely fantastic!

I was a little bit worried about purchasing this as a refurbished machine but wow.. after examining it there was no cosmetic damage done and it works amazing. I have never had a hairdryer with this much power but its a game changer when blow drying my long curly hair.

I have wavy frizzy hair, have a lot of it, but its fine. It takes forever to dry so usually just let it air dry but that weighs it down. My Hair dresser recommended this hair dryer. I am in love with the diffuser, dry’s really quickly, brings out my wavys/curls, not to hot so that means less frizzy… Haven’t tried the other attachments yet.

My coarse and curly hair is loving it. And it’s easy to style my hair.

I’ve only had my supersonic dryer about a week. I have curly hair and it has been a game changer on the frizz level! Worth every penny!

I bought my hair dryer about a month ago and it dried my hair incredibly quickly AND left my hair shiny, soft and straight! (I have African American relaxed hair) and I used the comb attachment. My hair was so straight from blow drying only that I didn’t have to use a flat iron afterwards!!! Believe the hype about this hairdryer IT IS WORTH IT!
