Overall a good quality cabinet, but it really requires reinforcement to make it a really good cabinet that can support weight and remain durable. First, the frame and sides are wood, specifically 1/2″ plywood sides and a wood front frame. The back panel is thin furniture board that was out of the channel and the front kick panel was pushed back when I opened the shipping cartons. The floor panel is what I believe is furniture board. The shelves are particle board. Here’s what I did to reinforce and beef up the cabinets: 1. Added an additional rear panel brace to hold the rear panel in place and to provide another anchor point for the cabinet. I used 5/8″ plywood and secured it with wood glue and 1.125″ brad nails. 2. Added additional support to the front kick panel and sides by adding 2″x4″ on each side under the floor panel that went from front to back, again, I glued, brad nailed, and screwed the boards in there. This really help strengthen the frame of the cabinet as it was secured to the front, sides, back, and the floor. 3. I added additional brad nails to the existing rear panel cross panel and brad nailed the rear panel to the existing and new rear panels. I also brad nailed the middle shelf and divider (between the upper door and lower door) from the rear and sides. I covered the brad nail head with white caulk where they were visible. I used these cabinets (2) in my garage and overall am pleased with them and knew that they would need to be reinforced to meet my standards. I wish they weren’t so expensive (about $600 each), but I couldn’t find a better cabinet at that price point.

This one was built correctly. The pantry I was never asked about, but that was a d is not good. It is not put together correctly on the top. Had to use it as the installers were here, unwrapped it and noticed the top had a wide crack. Disappointed in that one.
