Very heavy and arrives in two boxes. Requires two people to complete assembly but the result is a beautiful piece of furniture. The drawer does not have stop guides because of the two sided pass through design so need to use care opening & closing. Recommend using protective cover on top (glass, mat or table runner) and shelf liner for drawer/cabinets to prevent damage/scratching.

Make sure vertical column assemblies are located on the correct ends. They almost fit the wrong way by forcing into position but this will result in misalignment. The instructions should emphasize this. Likely, it is the reason for a number of the poor reviews.
